Jeremiah 1:5
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart…”

My journey as a hairstylist and makeup artist started before I did. When God created me, He placed inside of me a passion and eye for creating art and beauty. As a child I remember being drawn to music, art, color, Barbie dolls, makeup, etc. I loved to sing, draw, and play dress up! I remember taking JCPenney’s catalogs and sitting for hours coloring in makeup on the female models because I thought, “they could use a little more lipstick and bigger eyelashes!”

I was always involved in music and art programs from elementary school up until high school. I found my joy in creating and that passion followed me into adulthood. I will never forget being encouraged at an early age to be an entrepreneur, to find my passion, pursue it, and go into business. It wasn’t until 2008, when I moved to Warner Robins, GA after spending 8 years living abroad in Norway and Germany with my family, that I decided to pursue cosmetology.

I loved my time in cosmetology school and after receiving my Master Cosmetologist license in 2010, I started to realize that the beauty industry was home to me. No other job I had ever worked gave me the joy and satisfaction that I received from helping women feel good about themselves. I poured myself into learning all I could learn about skin care, makeup, and hair. Makeup is really what ignited a fire inside of me like no other! All I learned in school were the basics, so I did my own exploration and became self-taught.

In October 2013 I started Intensify by Patience, thanks to a lot of support and encouragement from friends, family, and a knowingness that this was the path God was directing down. I am continually amazed at the opportunities God sprinkles along my path and I am so thankful for all the wonderful ladies I have had the opportunity to work with! I am so excited and honored that you took the time to come to my site, learn a little about my journey, and I hope to work with you in the future!
